Data Surf released for free
August 10
th
, 2010
Data Surf is the fifth member of the Atlantis tools line, and is the second free product to help you in your daily tasks.
Data Surf visualises the data in your databases in a completely new way, allowing you to follow foreign key relationships to find related data at the click of a button. While you are doing this, a "surf graph" is created, giving you the ability not only to see the data you're working with in a familiar grid, but to also see the visual structure of the relationships that you have explored.
Data Surf then lets you save and re-load surfs later, as well as re-loading surfs with a new target - you specify a new starting point and Data Surf will automatically navigate all the same relationships that were previously explored. For example, it might be a common operation for you to look at a customer's details, find their orders, their contact records and details of the representative that they talked to. Don't write manual SQL again, use Data Surf to find this information for you instantly.
Data Surf is also being integrated into SQL Everywhere's upcoming 1.6 release, meaning you can surf data by right clicking on an object reference - whether that is in the schema tree, object browser or even directly from the editor. Just right click!
Data Surf also allows you to export your surf images, making it a useful tool for adding that little bit extra to data documentation projects. Explain the relationships in your schema visually, don't write 1000 words.

Atlantis launches Data Inspector
April 22
nd
, 2010
Data Inspector is the newest edition of our product family.
Data Inspector compares the data in two SQL Server databases, and allows you to visualise those changes, create synchronisation scripts or deploy changes directly. Data can be filtered both through WHERE clauses at the data level, and by using the same schema based filters available in all Atlantis applications.
Data inspector really helps both with creating data migrations for end-user databases and investigation of replication issues.
Data Inspector works in tandem with our Schema Inspector and both combine with our SQL Everywhere to make a uniquely integrated “one stop” solution for all SQL developers and administrators alike.
Data inspector uses a unique multi-threaded comparison engine to ensure that you get the most out of your investment in high speed networks and multi-core workstations.
